Dr. Paul isn't perfect, but he understands the connection between domestic Big Government and imperialism; he understands the connection between a free market and civil liberties. To be blunt, he knows that a government big enough to give you everything you want is: big enough to murder 11 million people and start a world war. -- Jeff Daiell

"Forgive me, but could someone (intelligent) tell me how an article with information on a presidential candidate which is posted under the heading "US Elections 2008" on a site designed to allow unsolicited submissions could be considered spam?"For the past 6 weeks, Ron Paul's supporters have been coming to Digg and inundating the site with links to anything that is even remotely related. The problem with this is that there are repeated duplicate stories, often from the same site but with, say, a print link and a direct link or a link to a blog that links to another blog that links to an article. This happens because there are some people who cannot accept that others do not support Ron Paul in the same way they do.There have been submissions made about Ron Paul in an Astro's uniform in the 1970's. There have been calls to action where a poll is posted and everyone should vote as many times as they can or when the Ron Paul supporters FLOODED the Daily Show boards because someone had said something negative. This happened a few weeks ago and there were so many threads about Ron Paul there that you had to get 2 pages in before you found something that *wasn't* about him.Further, this has turned into a war of sorts. You'll notice a lot of people who talk about spam also make snide comments. This is because with the vocal majority of Ron Paul's supporters, there is no discussion that they are willing to have. If you don't support Ron Paul you are (this is a partial list of what I've, personally, seen people called for saying something not positive about RP): A traitor, afraid of change, a neo-con (to a liberal?!), a paid shill (paid by any number of places), brainwashed masses, anti-Constitution, a supporter of (specific candidate or vague statement).Rarely are valid point refuted rather than the standard reaction of sticking their fingers in their ears and screaming "I can't HEAR you!!!"There are a number of people who are tired of seeing the same articles submitted over and over again. Tired of the same statements being made and, when challenged, the same angry tirades being thrown at them. Not only is Ron Paul not the only candidate in the race, not only is he a fringe candidate with a much slighter chance than people are willing to acknowledge, his supporters are f**king insane and attack like pit bull puppies. He's supported by the KKK, which results in Ron Paul spam coming from David Duke's website. He's supported by the 9/11 conspiracy theorists (which is yet another group of spammers). His alliances have further cemented (but by no means caused) the vendetta that people around here have against the stories submitted by him.I, along with others, have stated on numerous occassions that if a REASONABLE number of Ron Paul stories were submitted a day, rather than tens, if not hundreds and duplicates, and submissions completely devoid of content, I would stop digging them down. A whole lot of other people would stop digging them down too, but it seems that too many people are unwilling to stop the constant inundation of repeated stories and information... and every one of them seems to have a justification. You know, because it's not that we care about Digg. We're paid shill traitors, loyal to a corrupt government who are afraid of the type of change that Ron Paul will bring.Obviously.

What a great site to share with friends who want to know more about Ron Paul. Those video's posted there are great also. Be careful while listening though, a person may faint hearing basic common sense from a politician instead of spewing rheotoric to take more of our money away from us.

I'd imagine that most of the folks that go out of their way to bury and negatively comment on Ron Paul stories are weflare recipients in one way or another. They stand to lose their tax payer funded lives if Ron Paul were to be elected.
