I really like Shadow of the Colossus. It's way innovative and fun. The graphics arent the best, but no other game, except for Ico, shares its art style. It isn't everyone's cup of tea though.
"Why the hell do they have to present the winners in a video-clip? It seems I don't have the right codec installed, and so I can't see who the winners are."They are right there on the page....
"F.E.A.R would have been my choice."- jstackYeah? That's because you're a God damned retard who obviously doesn't give a s**t about software that doesn't work properly on ANY hardware. Snap, crackle, pop audio, blue screens, black screens, and a horribly inefficient game engine? Wow, sign me up. I'd love to pay $50 to get a DVD full of bugs.
F.E.A.R was OK. Not nearly as creepy as, say, Eternal Darkness, which is by far the scariest game I have ever played. Great fun.I couldn't play the 8th level and had to use a cheat code to skip it. Otherwise, it ran fine except for some buggy black screen problems which were always fixed by a clean reboot. Pretty buggy game overall, yeah. But really, it was the mediocre gameplay that made it a "just OK" game for me.RE4 was awesome, loved the bonus minigames at the end. I think I'll play it through again over the break.
The problem with the original resident Evil games controls is simply that most peoples brains can not comprehend that up is forward even if you are walking down. So they get confused and disoriented and end up walking in circles. Those of us that were able to deal with that understand how good the controls really where. I also have no clue how people are still bitching about being unable to target enemy's. Sure in the original game it was a little awkward but Capcom added an auto aim from Directors Cut on. Aiming has been simple in those games for years.I find the controls in RE4 to be highly inferior to the originals mostly cuz the game doesn't seem to want to decide if it;s a 1st or 3rd person game. The camera spends most of it;s time just above Leon's ass and in a 3rd person game if you cant see the feet you just feel like something is in the way of the camera. It took me a while to get used to the fact you have a massive blind spot on the left side of the screen but after that the game ended up really great. Kinda wish Capcom had just made it 1st person though and been done with it.

RE 4 is an awesome game, whether it's for the GC or the PS2, it's a good one.

"Even if most of the people presenting awards couldn't quite handle the prompter..."I took that as a joke on their part.
