I can't imagine anyone reading this wouldn't know, but, for all the "computer-illiterate" out there, download your own copy for free from <a class="user" href="http://gimp.org/">http://gimp.org/</a>
Yeah, I did some reading about and found that out myself :)It is against the GPL, however, if he sends the software but doesn't include the source code or an offer (valid for three years, mind you!) for the buyer to obtain the source code.Of course, for all I know, he could be directing buyers to an official download mirror. Would that be in violation? :DExcellent link, BTW, hadn't read that one.

To make a long story short, it's not in violation of the GPL : <a class="user" href="http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/selling.html">http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/selling.html</a>
