The phrase "...born yesterday" only works as a defense, as in "I WASN'T born yesterday," or perhaps you could stretch it to a sarcastic question such as, "were you born yesterday?" My point is that simply saying "you were born yesterday" is moronic since it lacks any effective sarcasm.
