evrsoft.com — You can now uninstall your 1st Page 2000, as the HTML Editor 1st Page 2006 has finally been released. A lot of people were expecting this new release, many features have been added such as a nice WYSIWYG interface and scripting options. Oh, this program is FREE for use, at home AND at work!

I also used this when it first came out. I love it. Downloading now :)

Got the Nod32 alert for 2 viruses also upon installing, imma keep reading and see what gives before I digg. I use Dreamweaver primarily for HTML stuff -- makes creating huge HTML sites a piece of cake, then I flip to Textpad for scripting and tweaking -- or if I'm doing a small, simple-layout site. I gave Nvu a try and it seems a little buggy still, but could certainly be used by someone unfamiliar with HTML to get by.rnrnTextpad is probably the most useful software I own.

512 ram? I have 1gb and there's a hell of a delay when typing in between html tags... I think it's because of the preview. At least give us an option to turn it off, evrsoft... I think i'll try the 2000 version

Been waiting forever for this one to come out. I remember getting 2000 after it first came out. What took so long? It was a great program then, I'm looking forward to getting it now.

Ramsinks.com, judging by your website, you are hardly a "pro". It looks like you took the header from some free template and did everything else in FrontPage.

nothing can touch Dreamweaver! I just love it. If you don't have the money for DW, use VisualWebDeveloper...it's very nice ;-)

its an awesome html editor. I've been developing web pages for years and I think its better than Dreamweaver and Frontpage combined!
