cyberiannomad.blogspot.com — By this video i have tears in my eyes. It was the first keynote of Apple and Steve Jobs. He is presenting a revolution for this time. All what you see was futuristic and emotional for the audiance and Steve Jobs self. He als was very overhelmed by the standing ovations and reactions of the people. A very rare video - and important for my archive.

It's both ways, Apple haters will pose their opinion on Apple related topics just like when theres a Microsoft related topic the Microsoft haters pose their opinion, it goes both ways.

Okay, I stand corrected and see everyone else's point. Let me rephrase for me personally, I give credit to the submitter as I would of not of know that this video was posted on YouTube unless I was actively searching for it (which I was not) or the poster had submitted it to Digg.com.

Whether you are an apple fan or not, a great book to read is “Apple confidential 2.0” It portrays the history of Apple from the days The Woz created the apple I to the present. If you ask me the book does not paint a pretty picture of Jobs. He is such an inspiration to Mac fans but I suggest he will be less of an inspiration after reading the book. An example from the book was the Woz helping Jobs out with his work designing arcade machines. Jobs could not handle it, so the Woz would sneak in at night and do the work for him. It later turned out that Jobs lied to the Woz about how much he was being paid for the work so he could give him less of a share.

The Apple experiance isn't about "Our OS is so great" but about "It just works".Windows95, even WindowsME are ROCK SOLID, STABLE, CRASH PROOF OSes, problem is: They only are if you only run em on certified hardware and DO NOT ADD 3rd Party Software. The reason Macs "Just work" is not because the OS is so great, but because the OS just runs on a very limited and controlled variety of hardware, designed by the same company as the OS. If you know the hardware your software runs on by heart, and know it JUST runs on this hardware, you can make the overall experiance "insanely great" to use the little dated catchphrase from 'ye olden times'.
