urbanlegends.about.com — The "Eye Of God" phenomenon in the amazing image is real. The Helix Nebula is a planetary nebula about 650 light-years from Earth. It's a popular target for astronomers because, due to its relative proximity, it's easily viewed through binoculars or telescope.

Old news from like 2 years ago. Very cool but no digg.

"That's only if your basic rights aren't being protected. John Locke's social contract theory."I know it's off-topic, but give me a break. The whole "if you don't like it get out of the country" line is just dumb. First, Locke's social contract in no way supports your claim. Second, your argument is bankrupt on its face. If you dislike lots of things your parents or loved ones do, it simply doesn't follow that you should dump them and get new ones. The same is true for one's country. -----------------Regarding the God's Eye thing... it's old, but interesting.

@emiles:"Why does everyone always waste so much time saying stuff is old??? Maybe it is, but it is evidently new to the people clicking "digg". That's the whole point of this site - the stories that get voted on the most make it to the top, and it doesn't matter how old they are or how many times that happens."Wrong. The first point of the site is to be a technology news website. NEWS. The second point is to be user-driven.@drahknon:"I know it's off-topic, but give me a break. Not your fault, but it's true.First, I didn't mean to say that Locke supported me. I meant to say that the other person had Locke's theory all wrong. Second, it is foolish if you dare tell me that you should stay in a country whose base principles you disagree with. If you're in a country in which your basic rights (life, liberty, property) are protected, but it has several major things you disagree with (pretend, for argument's sake, that this country doesn't the first and second amendment freedoms, and there is no right to a speedy trial.), why stay if another country already has the values you hold, and it is already viable? I'm not saying something stupid like "if you don't like the fact that abortion is legal, just leave" or anything like that. I'm saying that if your basic human rights are protected, but other than that most of its base principles are not in agreence with yours (especially if another viable country with principles in accordance with yours already exists), then leave.

^^Most people don't know this, but all nebulas are black and white photos - graphic artists color them for NASA (it helps when you get grants)^^^you're an idiot, and you're wrong. most of your "wrong" comes from your use of the word "all."
