I was a huge fan of Wind Waker. I was lucky to get it for free because my friend absolutely hated it because of the cell shading, which was a stupid reason to hate a game. I thought it looked fun and played very well. Maybe it wasn't OoT, but nothing ever will be, so they had to try something else and I think it turned out just right.
Link's Awakening DX was by far the best game, in my opinion. Sure, Ocarina of Time is super epic, but it's also dark and creepy at parts. I'm more of a Majora's Mask fan myself anyway, there was way more to do in it (although I agree that the time/day system got obnoxious). But anyway, LOZLADX was like the oldschool Zelda games, but updated a little... I also grew up with that one.
