'observe it as a form of trade'i.e. the refined oil product of marijuana is a reliable source of fuel for the current crop of automobiles.. so it would make sense for a cannabis-to-land regulatory ratio - sort of like the regulations of the past that required farmers to grow certain amounts of marijuana (for specific reasons/efforts)...it's so simple that it's ridiculous.
One of the most richest men in the world is....Joaquín Guzmán Loera(Forbes magizine) a leader of one of the most violent drug cartels. Drug cartels make 65-75% of there profits on marijuana alone... Why not legalize and regulate it and stop making violent cartels rich on something that is safer than Tylenol. Do you think the drug cartels want marijuana to be legalized? Absolutely not!
We already have. It's called AB390 and is now under consideration by the California state legislature. It's already been endorsed by the Chair of the Board of Equalization (the tax board that will administer the proposed program). If it passes out of the Health and Safety Committee and goes to the full legislature, it is likely to be passed under public pressure. Public opinion polls indicate 56% of the voting public is in favor of legalization in California (or rather, 56% look favorably on taxing it). The last holdout is getting the Governor to sign it into law and not veto the measure. Schwarzenegger hasn't come down on either side of the issue yet, but since the video of him toking up is all over the internet (in out takes from Pumping Iron), we know he likes getting stoned.
