NBC is a business, they can make any choice they like.Not that I agree with the Dixie Chicks, but they are entitled to spend their money and time any way they like, as long as it's legal.I disagree with them politically, love their music.....Civil people can disagree with each other and remain friends...I don't hate them, prolly never will.I think they have no clue politically, but that's my opinion. And we're both free to express ours.However Freedom of Speech does not mean, that i can force media's to carry it.I am sure some media outlet, tv, radio, will accept money to broadcast their ad. And they have a right to do that.You do have the right to disagree with me, as I do with you...I prefer to be civil about it.Do you?

I think a national network has a responsibility to not censor opposing points of view. Now really, what separates NBC from the Soviet Union's Pravda anymore? Do you think they would be just as deferential to a Democratic President? Oh, wait, that's right -- they had no trouble airing critical ads and programs of President Clinton when he was in office. This isn't about 'freedom of speech' -- its about censorship, plain and simple. NBC is proving itself a right-wing mouthpiece and should be sued up the yin-yang.
