One thing about Digg that I like -- you can see right away if readers are interested or not. Submit your prose to a publishing house and you wait up to a year for the same news -- filtered through the scattered head of one overworked reader. That's what I like about submitting to Digg.

Your ISP should have been noting their referrer logs and saw that it was coming from Digg. That's a sure sign that it is not a DOS but rather than the Digg effect.

So true, one had better be prepared for the overly constructive criticism though, but such might have kept me from wasting my free time writing those "novels" 10 years ago that still fill up two cardboard boxes in my closet floor. Think of what I could have done with that time....
