readwriteweb.com — As you can see there is a huge disparity in the number of stories promoted and how viral those stories go. Ultimately, what's happening is that people whose stories almost always get 1200+ Diggs are getting throttled (for whatever reason) whereas people whose stories are routinely getting under 1000 Diggs once promoted, are being favored.

It's pretty sad to see quality content held back beacuse a user submitting it has a lot of friends or frequent success on Digg.com. It's not the submitter who loses, it's the whole Digg community.

I really hope digg gets a breaking news section soon, I dont even care if a digg employee picks the breaking news but DIGG is known for breaking news not OLD NEWS so Please Digg Fix This ! =)

It's getting kinda like oatmeal around here Digg, tepid and kinda sludgy. Please stop penalizing the ones that have given you the most support. It's a bit counter productive.
