Same as above. You'll never be able to fast forward through live television. EVER. Unless the DVR is also somehow a time travel deice. But I doubt that would happen, either. Other than that, it seems like an okay idea, but it looks like it would cost thousands and thousands of dollars.

Wishful thinking but far fetching at best. Dugg Down, the like alludes to an existing device in the works. Something like this will never see the light of day for several reasons including Proprietary technologies who wont license out without heavy fees, and pointless add on's like HD-DVD AND Blu-ray? Why? Whats the point in that? If you have mega storage on your machine, why do you need a physical copy?
