I live next to this so called tourist attraction, and when i say live next to it, i mean next to it. It's on the street outside my window.I woke up in early in the morning by the smell of tar, then went to bed again, two hours later there were helicopters everywhere. I had no idea what was going on. Later I found out through Swedish newspapers that my neighbor was on fire and that buildings and streets where evacuated, really?Been a rainy day, haven't had time to go out, but the firemen are still there. And they say the streets are closed here in Greenwich.
@spiffytechI wrote about this for one of my Philosophy finals last year. You have a boat that, over time, has every single piece of it replaced in repairs. The short version is that you can call it the same boat because the essence of the boat was never destroyed. This is a little different since part of the Cutty Sark's identity is the age. It's a shame to loose what they lost, but I think that at least the boat will still mean the same thing. Ideas are had to kill.
@Wild... What is it with people misspelling lose lately? When I was growing up, nobody spelled that word incorrectly. Are people being taught to spell it wrong or am I just an old fogey who is behind the times?
