That wave, teahupoo really has kinda changed surfing in the past 5 or so years. Guys are starting to surf these mutant waves called "slabs" (even though teahupoo isnt considered a slab), because they usually come out of very, very deep water to a very shallow, flat, and BARELY submerged rock/coral reef.Anyways, if you found the picture interesting, check out some of these1. This is a helmet cam of a guy surfing in Indonesia. Not really crazy mutant waves, but if you've never surfed before this gives you a great shot of the surfers POV.
