princeton.edu — Every minute 7 people die from bad or no water. Less then .007% of the fresh water on Earth is available to people. Theres so much impervious surface on earth now (pavement, buildings, ect) rain water cant recharge into the water table and get naturally filtered. Definitely a big problem.

Uh, no. North America has plenty of water. So does Europe. We have so much water, we waste vast quantities of it on things like our 1/4 acre of Kentucky bluegrass. It's the rest of the world we'll be fending off because we have it and they don't.

Reaching for the tinfoil hat, are we? The UN is toothless. George Bush said so. Then he proved it. What makes you think the UN will suddenly grow teeth when it comes to our water supply?

f**k, you are dumb. There are plenty of places to grow rice that actually get lots of rain. Rice farmers is California use as much water as greater LA, and they get it for dirt cheap. Artificially low prices = waste and lots of it. Not to difficult to understand, even your small brain should be able to figure that out.
