But who would they get to fill the jails and make money from housing them?! Will say SOME of the facts are slightly distorted to support the cause, and that may weaken the argument for those who need to be reached. Besides, i am one of those that would WAY rather hang with a pothead over an alcoholic - ANY DAY!

The CRAZY thing is - do we let DRUNKS DRIVE? No... and I am sure as s**te that they probably wouldn't let pilots fly on weed if it was legalized, so the whole argument is completely out of touch with reality - typical for our police force - when I was taken in on a possession charge, the cop even said that "pot will be the downfall of our society" and I choked back my amazement.

the bigger issue here is about what it means to be a free American and how a law such as an illegal plant was made illegal and how in the same time harder drugs are legal. you obviously did not watch the video because it makes those points. Its educational dumbf**k

I see two main reasons it hasn't been decriminalized. 1) Its too easy to grow and they wouldn't be able to tax the stuff that wasn't government sanctioned. 2) They don't have a definitive instant test like the breathalizer for alcohol to determine the level of impairment.
