money.cnn.com — If you equate education with intelligence, then the smartest city in the US is Seattle - 52.7% of its residents age 25 or older have completed a bachelor's degree or higher. Many brainy people have flocked to the Seattle area to work in what's called the "knowledge economy." San Francisco us 2nd, a center for high-tech and financial services.

It doesn't surprise me. I worked at a company based there for two weeks before I quit.I found no one with an ounce of common sense, that's why I quit. I blame myself, the interview process was strange, I should have picked up on that. Oh well, never again.I'm also not surprised I don't see silicon valley. Arts degrees or smoking pot degrees don't count, so forget San Francisco, they all wear paper crowns and yell "bbbbbrup!" at traffic lights. Weirdo's of the highest caliber. In the silicon valley (proper) south bay we've been hiring for a year now and cannot find anyone that speaks above kindergarten English and is capable of solving problems. The days of hiring warm bodies in silicon valley is over, you need skills now folks (not leet skilz) and a command of the English language is paramount, technical skills are your price of entry.

Not intelligent, educated. And even that is questionable when I see how morons get degrees.

Since most people are unhappy about the Money/CNN Intelligence Survey. And, since all Digg users are smart, why can't Digg or a smart member conduct a survey on what cities have the most Digg members? Me too stupid to flesh idea out anymore...

Whats with all the retarded Seattle bashing on here? Especially the traffic stuff. People who don't live in Seattle are bashing our traffic problems, WTF?I live in Seattle 8 miles from my work downtown and the commute is 15 minutes. Its the shortest commute I've ever had, not to mention the easiet, and the traffic is multitudes better here in Seattle than Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis. The idiots who are saying s**t about the traffic are the ones who live in the burbs, and rightfully deserve the traffic headaches. By the way morons, Seattle made the list because you idiots aren't part of our city; just parasites who feed on it from the burbs.

Of the top 17, I have lived in 4 of them. I wonder if my some of my genius rubbed off on the people I met?

Wow... making f**king asinine f**king comments, and claiming intelligence. You take the cake, smug anyone? How does athletic skill equate to ones intelligence? You're claiming that the 20-30 percent of the population that graduate from a 2 year or 4 year program are automatically more intelligent, because they have a sheet of paper that says degree? So there are no good Basketball players in the world besides those who play in the NCAA or NBA? What about musicians, surely someone like me who has been playing and studying music my entire life, I must suck... without a record deal, or even a Grammy. Right... a piece of paper might give you a pedestal to judge others on, and surely it may be advantages to get you into the door of some company, so you can further suck dick to the top. But you can have you're paper, I'll keep my humble attitude, and not look down upon people without a f**king piece of paper from some overpiced yuppie/hippiefied liberal f**k off school. Or an entire city, because it didn't make some top 25 list conducted by more jerk offs. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7427067542845351261&q=penn+and+teller+bulls**t
