This map isn't really based on anything. Some countries have some laws that censor sites from being publicly available, and those are roughtly the areas. it's not a map of internet traffic or anything. Obviously, Antarctica doesn't have that much data being routed through it, nor would i imagine many data hubs being run from the bottom of the Atlantic. This is just some photoshopped map based on nothing.. It's an AD for f**k's sake.
I wonder what those countries would do if we said, fine... no free speech... no internet and don't let them on. But then the people would probably suffer more than the govt.
