gamasutra.com — Game developer Tose has 1,000 employees, and created 1,100 games since 1979 (including Final Fantasy GBA versions, though they can't mention it in this interview!), but they're basically unknown, because they're 'game development ninjas', and 'refuse to put [their] names on the game'.

Make that an U.S. governemnt official, or even Nintendo. Ever read Nintendo Power? Every interview has questions answered in the same way. However I'd rather have Nintendo in power, then the U.S. government - at the present time at least. We'll see how Sony stacks up come summer!

Yes, and they aren't the only ones. I am surprised that they have this many employees though.

We've finally found out who's responsible for the monumental pile of crap that is the movie-licensed game library.Hollywood exec #1: "Look, we're making a kid movie. We need a game."Hollywood exec #2: "We don't know how to make games. And we're already over budget on the movie."Hollywood exec #1: "Aren't there some Asian ninjas we can hire to do this for us?"Hollywood exec #2: "We'll have to pay them a dollar an hour."Hollywood exec #1: "Perfect."

If they created the Final Fantasy games for the Game Boy, maybe there's a reason they don't advertise what they do.
