thinkcomputers.org — After using the Super Ego laptop bag and Brain Cell, it has become quite apparent that Tom Bihn bags are some of the best on the market. The amount of thought and detail that went into creating theses bags are shocking. The ability to customize the bag to fit your personal style is another thing you do not see in similar products.

Looks wicked nice, I really want a new laptop bag, but I just can't afford it. I definitely want something that nice, keep water out, and keep it safe in the membrane! :) Good review bud!

Nice bagvertisement.None of the pictures of this bag on the blog or the designer's site show the one thing I'm interested in.How are the strap buckles designed?I've ended up breaking or replacing (with aluminum carabiners) the buckles on every laptop bag I've ever had. I can't entrust $1000 electronics to a bag I can't be sure of.

Hi folks,First: My name is Darcy, and I work at Tom Bihn, the company that makes the Super Ego messenger bag that this post links to. I'm not here to sell our products, and I would loathe doing anything like that on a site like digg or any other site except our own. But I do want to respond to a few of the comments here.We didn't have anything to do with this post on digg. I'm not sure who posted it, but if it violated digg etiquette, I apologize. Our bags aren't made-overseas Wal-mart crap. Our bags are made in our own Seattle, Washington factory by our highly skilled seamstresses. Our factory crew has 50+ years of sewing experience between them. We're proud of the amazing work they do, and so are they. We use the highest quality materials available, including splash-proof YKK zippers, Stealth buckles, and U.S.A Made Ballistic Nylon and Cordura. (If you'd like to see our factory, you can watch a video tour of our factory done by Gearlive/The Bleeding Edge here: http://www.bleedingedgetv.com/index.php/video/article/019-visit-tom-bihn-84640/) If you have any specific feedback about our products or our own web site, we'd love to hear it. You're welcome to email me directly or post publicly on our forums: http://www.tombihn.com/forums

Now that's an advertisement if I've ever seen one! Good stuff, though. I always buy from you guys or from the one other US made bags company I know in SF.
