Its hard for me to get up off the couch sometimes... I cant do that. Laziness and working out is just an oxymoron.

Judging by your photo bigdoug, you need a different workout. True powerlifters feel stronger after they left the gym than before they got there. Only noobs train till they can't shampoo their hair.Grease the groove...

"Exercise is an unnatural act. My ancestors struggled all their lives to free themselves from backbreaking, repetitive, meaningless labour. They would not be pleased to see their descendants pay to initate them. Swimming in the sea, riding a bicycle (one that moves) walking in the hills -- these are worth doing, but I've never met a gym bunny who had anything interesting to say."Yeah, doing something that makes you stronger, healthier, better-looking and that raises your self-confidence is totally worthless and a stupid thing to do. And, of course, all those hours spent in the gym (3 or 4 hours of a week which has 168, go figure) make you incredible dumb and leave you without time to exercise your mind.

If there is one thing Microsoft is good at its MSN health & fitness. I only wish they had an RSS feed to subscribe to, I go into the RSS section and they have MSNBC health but no MSN health.

Whoa... I am in decent shape but I couldn't even start a Pistol Squat!Tried again... I can stand up straight with my arms and one leg out. Check.I can't do the lowest position (tried starting from a squat with both feet on the ground, lifting one... wow that's hard to balance :)I can't imagine getting from the upper position to the lower one without falling over or snapping my knee!

Kettlebells are no joke. I prefer yoga and tai chi for general fitness, but the ballistic kettlebell exercises are still a rewarding and invigorating form of strength training.

Surprised this has gotten thousands of Diggs. Of course, who am I to talk if I'm posting here. Will have to try this at home. Anything that doesn't require seriously expensive machinery works for me.
