As a UMiami alumnus I can honestly say that I hate that Flutie clip. They show it 100 times a football season, and it kills me every time. Most people don't remember that the game before this one Miami lost the largest halftime lead (31-0) to loose to Maryland. What a horrid set of games for a Miami fan.
wars. Do you not realize how bad this site looks when someone links to this f**king play?If MySpace did it, you would be jumping all over the user for being so stupid as to think that anyone in the world hasn't already seen it.With the YouTube inclusion on this site, Digg has become FAR more lame than MySpac.Congratulations. You are on a site that is far more lame than MySpace. Just not as popular.
53 seconds on the clock is not 53 seconds of real time (the clip is 6 minutes long). Many people will leave early if there team is losing or winning. Heck, the only time I've seen a baseball game filled to the ninth is playoff games, ties, or record-breakers.
Oh my god! That's nuts! I thought it was about John Elway but the very last play Cali wins it all. Wow. What a good post! You totally have to watch til the end! I saw when they made the field goal and there was about 2 minutes left so I fast forward and it said 25-20 so I had to watch from where I left off.
To gspm, if the play clock has run out of time, and there is still a play going on, they keep playing until a tackle, or someone runs out of bounds... In other words, when the play is dead.

I'll trust ESPN's analyists over random fans of any particuar sport.http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/sportSkillsThere's arguments to be made against several aspects of that, but I think it's more or less accurate.

I've never seen a close replay of that first lateral. I'd like to see one, cause every time I see that it looks to me like he's down.
