youtube.com— If this gets seen by enough people, the Dems may just win this...Nothing is more powerful than your opponents words to make your case. Glad they borrowed this tactic from the GOP.

The thing to realize is that in the US, the main goal of most political campaigns is NOT to gather voters. It's to suppress votes for the other guy. This is why our elections are on week days. It's why we have to rely on corporate media outlets to get information about candidates and their views. It's why our political ads are mainly attack ads. The candidates, especialy the incumbants, don't want extra voters showing up and throwing off their polls and disrupting their gerrymandered districts. What's actually awakening most of the populace in the past decade has been the internet infiltrating into mainstream America. All of a sudden people can talk to each other anywhere about anything. Including government screw ups, cover ups and policies. Sites like YouTube and MySpace are allowing campaign ads to reach millions for free. Slowly but surely our political process is changing year by year. I'm thinking once we boot the current regime out of our government, things are going to change a lot quicker too. I'm thinking a sign that we're actually making progress will be when election get moved to weekends, hopefully within the next decade it'll happen.
Stay the course = Keep giving Billions of dollars to Haliburton. Also Have At&t funnel traffic to NSA. Write laws to make it tougher to be a whistleblower. Write laws to destroy the geneva convention. etc etc...
