I didn’t say they weren’t a good band. I’ve heard those albums. Let it be put me to sleep. That song is very well written, but it would fit right into a Rogers and Hammerstein musical. People act like there wouldn’t be any rock and roll at all if it weren’t for the Holy Beatles, which just isn’t true. Calling “Sgt Pepper” the best rock a nd roll album ever is akin to calling jethro tull a metal band.
