Anyone who runs even a half ass website has far more then 1200 different ip addresses. Hell, anyone who knows how to use IRC can get 1200 different IP addresses in a few minutes, or there are thousands of "look up the IP of your favorite website" pages.-Aaron (12.226.13.60)
I actually went through the trouble of emailing the guy and he said he did it as a joke a while back when someone was poking around there and never took it down. Now it redirects to the homepage.So your not going to be tracked down. Sorry.
Seems like he took it down when it started getting attention. Perhaps he wasn't keen on having the 'borrowing' so prominently referenced. Too bad, it was pretty inspiring. He could have just swapped out the background photo with something equally desolate.
