Lots of companies ban devices with cameras on them. Being able to sit in a field of daises and talk to your significant other wirelessly with a cam might be fun once or twice. Being told you cannot bring your electronic notepad into your office would not be fun.It's a well known fact there are Bluetooth webcams.
Even you have to admit that having an integral teensy keyboard is kind of retarded. The netbook product line is a loser. First, it's cutting deep into Microsoft and manufacturer's revenues. It's a PC-killer. Not exactly the effect MS+Dell were going for. It's just a shrunken head version of Windows 7 laptops. But simply cutting the screen/keyboard size it not how you make a real "mobile" product.The iPad, you can use standing up. But netbooks...how the heck can you type with two hands and hold it? You can't! So clearly you need a chair and table when you use it. You can't walk while you use it. So netbooks are not really mobile the way phones, iPad, and iPods are. Netbooks only can be used for 5 hours before you have to recharge them. Pretty funny. Go into 3p.m. meeting and it dies. The iPad goes 10 hours usage on a charge.Flash is hardly a web standard. It's just a product with a slow, CPU-hogging codec that is blurry, has kind of unresponsiveness controls, and has security problems practically all the time, even if you just count known ones. Google is switching to H.264 for YouTube.The tablets are not a win either - http://www.crn.com/software/222600354;
No MicroSDHC slot. - no one caresNo slide out keyboard. - Bluetooth 2.1, 2 fullsize keyboard options alsoNo WiMax modem. - LOL, so? It has a 3G option plus wi-fi comes standard.No OSX. - wrong genius. Go look on Apple's home page right now, it says it has OSX.No USB Slot. - USB is not good for mobile devices, cords to carry around, pull things off tables or string all over the place - plus USB drains battery when in use and can interfere with sleep mode. By the way, I got a lot of this info from Microsoft Support web site.No user replaceable battery. - True, but who cares.
If Microsoft had made the same exact iPad tablet first, everyone would have said it's fantastic. Microsoft has surpassed Apple. I guess that is the nature of the beast. By the way do you really actually own a slow netbook. They are undoubtably the slowest waste of money on the planet.

What will come of the iPad? Do you think it will continue to sell, or do you think it will be doomed to fail? If so that would mean tarnishing the otherwise spotless reputation of Apple's iDevices. I agree on this one. THey should have made it widescreen since Display nowadays have great quality in widescreen.
