spike.com — Nothing is quite as annoying as an actor who’s been horribly miscast in a movie. Sometimes, however, the casting is so bad that, at a certain point, the heinousness of their performance becomes a freak show to ogle at.

Heh... I've long since given up trying to figure out why people digg a comment or bury it. When I joined Digg, the tendency was for other users to digg your comment if it was reasonably stated and reasonably factual or interesting. Now, it seems you get buried or dugg on the basis of whether someone agrees with you or not, which seems fairly infantile to me. I digg comments all the time that I disagree with, as long as it makes sense or is interesting and is stated in a reasonable way. I reserve my buries for jackassery. And as far as Constantine, there are actresses out there who would have done a better job than Keanu.

Didn't buy Keanu as a hot shot attorney in "The Devil's Advocate." Sorry, but I just can't believe him as someone who graduated from college.IMO, Keanu's main success is in a role that really didn't require much acting: Neo from the Matrix series.

This dudes take on the Aviator is simply wrong and I didn't even like the movie but thought the acting was spot on. The editing on the other hand is another subject.

I don't think Colin is a bad actor he just takes really bad scripts.

They were going to cast Dicaprio for the role of Anikan but he wanted too much money. But agreed the dialog was pretty bad to mediocre but that was the reason they needed a vet or at least a journeyman actor that knew how to improvise and have more charisma.
kaliiDec 26, 2008
That is why you cast an actor who can actually improvise.

And I typed her name as "Kate" instead of Cate Blanchett. Cate was playing Kate.

Too many not in here to reel off all of them but surely Tom Hanks in anything must be a shoe-in for this list. Cast Away springs to the top of my mind, 2 hours of self-indulgent 'acting' plus the hype surrounding it was unbelievable. Tom Hanks using the 'method'....... hahaha made cry because I actually paid to watch it
