I've lived in Baltimore for 3 months and have read about a shooting, a robbery, a guy getting hacked up by a samurai sword, and two student deaths, all happening within 5 miles of where I live. That doesn't really have anything to do with urban youth, but this place blows.
I am from Chicago as well I might not be proud but i am still a Chicagoan and i wish to speak up for how i feel. And there is a problem around this area. It is a problem of truth justice and integrity, everyone is just blaming everyone else for everything, and while that is going on in the process the politicians see this crises, and will steal from the people, creating horrible conditions for the city in general. And you gotta think to all the economical hard times, it adds on to this stiring up a pot of a really bad situation. People here are so busy with their just so called life, to even think about other people in our city right now. WE NEED PEOPLE who are not afraid of the problems, who are solvers and thinkers, not blamer and avoidance in personality that digresses our society as a whole look where its getting us too chicago, are you proud of that blame and neglect? Are you because i am f**king not. I am sick of these people confusing everyone distracting them from what is going on. I stand in front of blame and neglect and i will astute that i am better then anyone who uses those tactics as a means to suppress or oppress. Where are the revolutionary thinkers, who just cannot stand s**t anymore, that just keep on educating themselves to the point of enlightenment. Where are the civil disobediants that will not allow people to trample on there right . Where is the truth, the working together to get s**t done, to do anything really. We need you people come on. I am getting sick and tired of it. And you gotta think to the guy that was talking about kids throwing their lives away, what that means for the f**king generation of kids after mine that is oging on right now. Its going to be Horrendous, might even be worse then it is right now. Mayor Daley might not be the best guy, but really who would you choose otherwise. They all turn to greed and profit in the end.
