Voice communication seems like a good idea until you come across these idiots who seem to be 80% of the people playing. I turn off all voice communication and if I do use it nobody listens, you get the whiny constantly talking players who try and tell everyone where to go and never shut up so we can make a plan and discuss it. If you say more than a dozen words a minute you're probably an annoying player, there's no need.

While I do sometimes get a little frustrated when faced with a particularly difficult or unfair challenge I've never actually gotten angry because of a video game. People getting angry because they died in a video game is a thing I've never understood, and to me it seems to be quite immature. It's only a game. You may as well lose your temper because you lost pretend money playing Monopoly.

DKP = Dragon Kill Points. It's a player-made system of getting "points" for raids. Signing up early, showing up on time, number of bosses beaten, time it takes to get to point X, etc... are all things that can be taken into account (not all always are, it depends on the guild). You then spend (or bid) your points blindly to "buy" loot that drops. As far as I know it, DKP started in EverQuest when killing dragons was the big thing to do. The name stuck and is still used in WoW. @benplaut - DOTs are Damage Over Time spells. Whelps are little baby dragon whelps that you have to deal with when fighting Onyxia.

Just yesterday I threw a Gamecube controller down on the ground, except it hit my foot. That was the first time I ever threw a controller, and possibly the last. It's my neighbors fault he beat me in Smash bros with freakin Young Link though...
