This is scary. Although it is funny watching McDonalds try to establish some kind of lifestyle that people would consciously want to live by. I wanna live the G2 gatorade lifestyle. My yogurt defines me. It's all bulls**t. Here's a handy tip: Your favorite little organic, lesser known, indie whatever brands don't have much love for anything but your money just like the big companies. Never buy on the "principles" of a company, only your tastes, because there is no escaping greed anymore.

Just wait, you'll be walking down a sidewalk one day, and you'll get a pop-up, right there out of thin air.

The thing is to just be secure in yourself. Advertising "preys" on the susceptible...if you're one of those that can be easily convince you should buy something you don't want, beware. Otherwise, spend your money wisely on whatever YOU want. The point of advertising (I mean the REAL point) is simply to make people aware that a product exists. So once you know something is available as a price you like with the features you want, go ahead and purchase...just don't be brainwashed into buying it.
