Right on, claybodie, The Snow Leopard is a classic. I also recommend "In The Himalayas" - originally titled "The Wildest Dreams of Kew". I haven't been to Nepal, but I'm hoping to do the Kachenjunga trek someday. It seems that Annapurna and Everest basecamp, while spectacular, are also getting crowded. The magical think about mountains, for me, is the solitude.

Rooftop of the world. I think one would be hard pressed to visit a more beautiful country anywhere in the world.

Nepal is at the very top of my list. I need to go there and meditate in the mountains for a few months to recover from years of computer abuse. ;-)
