nytimes.com — The Cheney-Bush "administration" has concealed the horrendous costs of the war ($2-3 Trillion or more). It has bypassed the normal budgetary process, financing the war almost entirely through “emergency” appropriations that get far less scrutiny. Bush lied to us about the reasons to go to war, and was a coward for evading service in Vietnam.

That's a wonderful justifiable thing that we did. There's just one problem with that morality. We're the most powerful military on Earth. Who's gonna invade US so that OUR resources can be secure? We'll have to wait until China and Russia reach the point that they can help us secure our resources.Thankfully, Bush has that figured out too. By reducing our military readiness and accelerating equipment wear through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Bush is helpfully lowering the bar so that China and Russia don't have upgrade their militaries as far as they would have before. It will now take less time for them to help us secure our resources by invading us. It won't take as long as we thought!...Bush is a genius!

You guys voted for these clowns. Twice. Your populous is now too stupid to be trusted with voting for leaders, I suggest you just hurry up and move to a Christian theocracy.

Actually, only fools were convinced by the charade. The intelligence agencies knew better, contrary to the repeated lie.

I am merely explaining why we don't go after Israel for having nukes: They don't pose a danger to us.A nuclear Iran would pose a definite danger to Israel and even to Europe and the US via terrorism.Fair? No. Reasonable? Yes.

Believe what? That people in power use that power at the cost of others to gain more power via control of resources? No why would I believe such a silly thing. It may not be the only reason for war... but it's what I'm going with for the primary motivator. It's not like this is a new concept. Hell it's human nature 101.
