Complete bulls**t, but nice try at attempting to stroke your massive ego. FTW, Arrested Development is an American show. As wphj said, there are lots of over-the-top crude moments in British television (have you seen Little Britain? That's supposed to be brilliant?) and lots of subtle moments in American shows like Seinfeld. It has nothing to do with Brits being "smarter" than Americans. There are terrible shows and great shows on both sides. Jeez, I love Ricky Gervais, but his followers...not so much.
