As far as I know I think its free but there's copyright issues with the cutscenes. But +1 for best game ever, I even bought a joystick to play it (they still make pc joysticks??!!)
savage 2 is OK, i played it for about an hour and then uninstalled, but its not bad. And to lowron's point, there are alot of these games they are talking about that you can pay for more stuff, like savage2. trackmania nations is a standalone full version complete game. Yes United gives you some more functionality like cust avatars and car models and skins, but actually playing the game there is no difference, except the other environments that united has.
