Yes they are mostly American disasters, but to be fair one of them is a worldwide disaster, and it killed over 50 million people worldwide. Go back and read because it is there.
"How many bad titles are digg every day?" many.this is another one.and yes.is closed minded to think that generalizations are made only against americans.it's your point of view.but it's wrong.how many time people generalize on DIGG? you are not different...
@ straylightWhy don't you blame Popular Mechanics instead of the submitter? The submitter took the exact headline from Popular Mechanics, he didn't fail to mention other disasters because he's a close-minded American, you douche. Why don't you click the link to realize the magazine made the headline, not the submitter?
Naming is very different to recognizing. I'm sure Indonesians don't call it the 26th of Dec Tsunami either, you know, speaking Indonesian and all. So whats the harm in calling it something we can understand, at least we acknowledge their loss.

Not to mention the yellow river flood in China with over 9M dead. Get your head out of your ass, America.

That was one of my first reactions to this article, "what about the Tsunami that happened a few years back?"

Bush wasn't elected in 2000. He was appointed by the Supreme Court.
