You'd think there would be some amount of vetting! It IS AFTER ALL LIVE!! You blow it, there's no fixing it in the editing room! It's done! They need to realize that just because someone is an actor of some real talent like Bronson Pinchot does not mean they can ad-lib! On live television, you NEED to be able to do that!

Yeah but SNL and MADTV seem to suck anyway. You're lucky if you get one good sketch in an entire show. I used to at least be able to count on weekend update, but now even that sucks.

except for Waikiki Hockey, which was phenominal. and his appearance on "Wayne's World" was not bad at all. the opening monologue was just as bad as most.
