Knights of the old Republic was f**ken awesome. And Bastila was damn hot. Once, she asked me to put my light saber in vibration mode and then....well, I've said too much.
I hope the Thrawn books are what they are using for the live action TV series. (If that is still going to happen at all) Although, I suppose it would be risky to recast the main characters...
Except that, in canon, he doesn't beat the Emperor. Not that I'm disagreeing with you. It probably doesn't deserve to be on here, especially with the glaring omission that is KOTOR.
The Thrawn books (AKA, Timothy Zahn's "Heir to the Empire" trilogy) was all I was hoping to find on this list and I'm pleased that the author included it. None of the other Star Wars stuff I've read so far holds a candle to Timothy Zahn's work.
