eyesonobama.com — Though we're now just hours before he's sworn in, we take a moment and look back at the tremendous sacrifice President-elect Barack Obama has made thus far, and the fantastic job he's done along the way. And most of all, we express our sincere gratitude.

This is so stupid. I agree that Obama was a better choice then McCain. I mean s**t my cat would be a better president than McCain. Anyways he has not done anything yet. He is still a politician. So I will have to wait and see.

America needs a lead that inspires hope like President Obama. I'm with him all the way. Good luck, Mr. President.

I think it's hilarious that Americans are so bitter and hateful that they even get angered when they see someone who believes that change is possible. The past 8 years have left people so embittered, they're actually MAD when they meet someone who is optimistic about the future for a change! They get pissed off!Well, I'm glad someone has inspired people to believe that change is possible. Just having that optimism is enough to put some positive things into motion. When people are optimistic, they're inspired. When they're inspired, they feel capable of making positive changes. That's all, people. Quit getting your f**king panties in a wad over those who were ecstatic today at the ideas of possibilities that may come out of this new president. And even if historically good happens, it'll still be better than the past 8 years. And that's reason enough to celebrate right there. So you can suck on your sour grapes all you want; I see that America, for the FIRST time in 8 years has some people who are excited, optimistic, hopeful and motivated. If you see something wrong with that, there's clearly something wrong with you.Hope is all.

I think you underestimate how hopeless most Americans felt prior to Obama joining the race.
