An ambitious plan by Texas. Even if a cure isn't found the positive impact of this will be huge. The reality is that cancer is complex and we really only have circumstantial knowedge around prevention and treatment. Breast cancer isn't the same as lung cancer and neither behaves exactly the same in different people.I doubt that this project will find a cure for cancer, however what I see as positive of this project is the side benefits that will be achieved as a result of the focus of this project. This project will likely provide more in-depth knowledge on cancer, how it behaves in humans, what triggers it and a better understanding on how it can be prevented.
