dallasnews.com— Gov. Rick Perry said that he supported the policy of the Harrold school district to allow teachers and staff members to carry guns at school as long as they are adequately trained in gun safety.

I agree. Just because you have a profession in the educational system doesn't mean you should have to give up you right to self defense. I'd say the evidence is plenty that it's most needed in our schools and colleges with all the nut jobs going to the "Gun Free Zone" to mass murder people. Concealed weapons holders are vetted for at least a past criminal record. And for those will criminal intent, they will bring their guns to kill you regardless of any law forbidding it. Accidents may occur, but the odds are not really greater than anywhere else that guns are carried.
Guns come from many places. In my country we don't carry guns and shootings are exponentialy lower then the usa. Glad you feel comfortable carrying a gun, but if you've seen your partner shot in the face like I have ... your views might change like mine have.
Every day, more than 80 Americans die from gun violence. (Coalition to Stop Gun Violence) The rate of firearm deaths among kids under age 15 is almost 12 times higher in the United States than in 25 other industrialized countries combined. (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) American kids are 16 times more likely to be murdered with a gun, 11 times more likely to commit suicide with a gun, and nine times more likely to die from a firearm accident than children in 25 other industrialized countries combined. (Centers for Disease Control)
@brentbloodworth: your comment was worth a lolz hehe@wunksta: Well if you ever have to pair off against a guy hopped up on meth and down on his luck, don't take offense if I don't put my money on you winning with your bare handed compassion.
Yeah, because an alleged criminal's right to due process under the law is constitutional, just not as constitutional as another person's right to gun him down and kill the guy for jaywalking. Why bother with trials anymore? I say we shoot the guy with a bullet and if he lives then that means God finds him not guilty. Let's let the good Lord decide from now on.

Yeah, because teachers are ALWAYS level-headed. Which is why so many of them are sexing up teenage students.

Yeah because having a high death rate because of guns is so much better than having a high burglary rate without them./s

The obvious choice is for you to pull out your gun so you can both shoot each other dead.
