infowars.com— If it were built, the road would be one of the engineering wonders of the 21st century -a trade route a quarter of a mile wide, carving a path from Mexico through the heart of America to Canada.

actually, the at 9/11 is what its all about for me. I absolutely love reading the comments of the globally ignorant. It really does provide a realtime, user generated example of why people don't like Amereecans. As for clearing Customs...If someone drives across the US/Canada border, yes they go through Customs right away. However, if I am ever coerced into flying into the US (I won't ever drive across again), I get to clear US Customs before leaving Canada. Just as some people have a problem with Mexicans traveling well into the US before clearing Customs, I have a problem with letting US Customs officials into Canada. My only relief is that we don't let them carry sidearms and it makes me laugh when the Customs officer starts talking to someone, reaches for their hip, and finds nothing there.Another thought....If you fools don't want the Mexicans, please send them North. We'll take them, and I'm sure they will be much happier here. We will actually pay them well above minimum wage, give them full benefits, and let them do whatever job they are actually qualified for. All of our....substandard citizens have gone off to seek their pot of gold in Amereeca. This is a double edged sword. We got rid of the idiots, but we still have tons of jobs that need filling. Amereecans aren't really welcome (that's a political decision on both sides, which I agree with), so we'll take anyone else, that is willing to work.go ahead, digg it down again.Freedom of speech, as long as its not the truth.
Who gives a s**t what Ron Paul thinks? Yes, he's a fake libertarian (fake, because... well, he isn't a real one). He is NEVER mentioned among candidates running unless it's some computer geek who doesn't follow politics outside his shell.Right now it's Edwards, Clinton, Obama, Guilliani and McCain and even possibly Mitt Romney. If you think Ron Paul has a chance to win, you are mistaken.I'm very for third party candidates. Hell, I don't consider myself either Republican or Democrat either, but let's get real. A guy outside of the mainstream will not win in 2008. Hopefully third parties will make a stand in the USA soon, but it won't be in the next election.
Ron Paul is in a major party... he's a registered Republican, and a REAL one at that. The fakes are every other Republican candidate, since they all support increasing the size of government whereas the GOP is traditionally known as the small government party. Ron Paul is also a REAL libertarian, since he believes each person has the right to dictate how they live their lives without it being dictated to them by Big Brother. The only reason Ron Paul's chance of winning isn't that great is because of people like yourself who refuse to consider him despite your so-called yearning for legitimate third-party candidates. Ron Paul is the best of both worlds... third-party mentality with big party credentials... you can't be more legitimate than that. If you dismiss him as not viable, then you are in fact dismissing your professed desire to see alternative candidates. The problem facing America is that we all want to be winners, and that means we want to vote for the guy we think has a shot at winning, as if politicians are racehorses. I have bad news for you... even IF you pick the right horse from your list of "legitimate" candidates, you still lose. Every one of them will promote big government's intrusion into your personal life. The only REAL alternative to that is Ron Paul.
Having moved to TX from Austria a fairly recent 9 years ago, I am always amazed how programmed some US citizens are to hate "liberals". This is some amazing Pavlovian reflex that by whatever powerful propaganda (for once, please try listening to something else than AM talk radio, grampa, dad and the pastor) is firmly planted in a lot of American's minds...You are just *perfect* fodder for manipulative politicians !!!
"we need technology that will fly the vehicles for us. "That technology already exists. Today's commercial airliners are capable of auto takeoff, navigation and landing. Boeing is even working on a panic switch that makes an airplane fly to a designated location and land if the pilot hits the "I'm being hijacked" button.College classes are routinely building robotic helicopters that can follow a programmed flight path and stay within a very tight tolerance of the flight plan.Just look at what we have so far: GPS, fiber-optic and MEMS gyros, CPUs with enough processing power to to execute a million instructions every time a fan makes one revolution. It's all doable today, we just need something like the Ansari X Prize to make it happen.-jcr
The level of ignorance is astounding. Bush signed the Strategic Parternship Project initiative at a meeting with the President of Mexico and the Prime Minister of Canada. He unilaterally agreed to it, and there was no debate about it in Congress.Basically, Bush is signing off on a plan that will ultimately result in the merging of the US and Mexico in a North American Union, and some of you don't see the problem with that?Man, what a bunch of idiots! Now, being a person that has played the board game Risk, holding all of North America under your control is an obvious strategic advantage. And, ultimately it may be a necessary or smart move for us to do this. But, even if that were the case, don't you think we are at least owed the explanation and opportunity to have this debate in the public realm, rather than a bunch of secret backdoor deals done by a shadow government?
Autobahn in Texas is no good, big rigs are allowed in the far left lane, Texas roadblock. Secondly, they have no clue about the left lane is for passing even when the highways have signs along them to remind the idiots.
