Since my ISP only provides modem drivers for windows I have never surfed the web on linux.I have been unable to find a linux driver for my usb modem so this is wonderfull stonekeeper. It will be interesting to understand how this works.Maybe the RAM is loaded into the client from the internet and the rest is simple.I mean the display etc is completly generated by the program that is sandboxed in this nomachine client. This doesnt cause too much bandwidth demand thisway.Imagine the hardrive is on the net.The program is completley on my system.

@timewarrior - no, the software is all running on their server, and the NX client just allows you to view it and interact with it via keyboard and mouse. The NX software is available to people for remote-desktop use, and it boasts high-speed functionality even over slow connections, even though I'm sceptical.
