worldnetdaily.com — Is there any doubt that the current U.S. Congress is the biggest collection of slimy, shady, demagoging snake-oil salespeople ever assembled? It's tough to watch C-Span anymore without needing a shower and comprehensive delousing afterwards.

The deafening silence is a symptom of the larger problem with voter apathy. We do not need term limits so that the voter's jobs are done automatically. Instead we need a more engaged, concerned electorate that will use the powers granted by our Constitution. If the electorate paid attention to the actions of the Congress incumbents would not be returned to office with the alarming regularity with which it now occurs. Pelosi and Reid would be worried that that the public has given the congress approval ratings in the single digits. If the congressional leadership is appalled at Bush approval ratings they should be more concerned with their own.

The lunatics in the asylum will never vote limits on themselves. We the people get our turn at term limits every 4 years, so take advantage of it! Stop the insanity of re-electing the same idiots and expecting different results. VOTE OUT EVERY INCUMBENT POLITICIAN REGARDLESS OF PARTY THIS ELECTION AND EVERY ELECTION. Make public service actually be public service, not self service.

The problem is that politics has become a permanent job for some folks. Being a public servant should be that first, not a paycheck, a steady retirement and benefits package first. Career politician should be an oxymoron rather than the norm.

Isn't it a quizzical paradox that we all know and understand that our politicians are liars, cheats, con men (and Women), pompous, arrogant, narcissistic, ego manical ass h**es that have burried this country in it's present circumstance. Yet, we have no compunction about re-electing them. Arent we fools?

I totally disagree. There are quite a few good conservative principled Republicans in office. Dunderhead democrat voters would never do what is being advocated here so the only ones that will get voted out would be those few precious Conservatives since it is their voters who would vote them out "on principle." This is exactly what happened in 2006 that gave the Congress to the Pelosi / Reed crowd. In other words this stupid knee jerk vote "all" the bottom dwellers out gave us the worst congress in the history of the US. I am all for voting bottom dwellers out and I am all for term limits, but I am not for being an idiot and voting out those who are doing the right thing and replacing them with Pelosi/ Reed sociopaths. PS my Congressman is Shadegg, My Senator Kyl, You will probably not find better in today's political climate. The other guy, McCain, I don't know from whence he is.
