I think we need to be careful about voting for people due to the fact that we 'like' them as people. Look what has happened to us in MA with Deval Patrick. 56% of us fell for the vague 'feel good' campaign of "Together we can!". Now that he's in office it is becoming more and more apparent that the lack of experience is a real problem. His approval rating has already dropped 20 points and his disapproval rating is up 22 points just in the last month. We are learning here that you really need to take a hard look at an individuals experience.
That is obviously pro-Obama propaganda, and not just a list of things most people don't know, otherwise they'd have list "His middle name is Hussein", or mentioned it in comment #1. It's a shame our media can be bought and sold like that, they should at least *try* to be neutral. That said, I don't dislike Barack, he's a cool guy and I might vote for him, who knows.
@idonthackSocialism was intellectually defeated 80+ years ago (Book: Socialism by Ludwig von Mises). Recently the wall fell down, proving that socialism can not calculate, this is why the NHS fails in the UK, and countless of other examples (well every example of socialism). Also, if theft is wrong, then socialism is wrong. Thus, it is morally reprehensible. For example, if everyone does not agree with welfare (the modern kind of socialism, which if you watch the news you'll see is slowly collapsing) then the state has stolen from them.
Thanks JonGalt, I've never read anything about him, but I knew he supported stealing money of people to pay for other peoples health care, so, this stuff doesn't surprise me.Isn't the health care system in the US run like a big of union? I guess trying to break that, to bring prices down in line with other countries, wouldn't be politically correct. Anyhow, simple slogans like "universal health care" gets the sheep to vote for him.It is funny how people digg you down when all you are doing is supporting voluntary interaction between humans. People should listen to South Park more to understand that freedom goes both ways.
Since when does someone have to be poor and live like the poor? Who in the hell wants to glorify poverty in order to be taken serious about the living conditions of the poor? Look at the other past Reps for the poor did you see them living in the projects? We missing the point here aren't we?
He is a horrible ignorant debater and becomes furious at simplistic responses. Exactly the type of person we have in office now. How can people forget his past so easily.
