GMail has been around since Spring 2004.. how is it even in the running for a "2005" list? I, for one, have been using GMail as my primary email address since May 2004, and I've never been happier with an email service.

What the hell? Gmail is awesome. I use it as my primary account AND get all my other email forwarded to it. This article sucks ass.

Gmail is not a failed trend. NO DIGG."I've been playing around with the Yahoo mail beta, and it offers a slick, Outlook-like user interface."Yeah, well, it's cool that they can do that now, but I HATE the Outlook UI! So it doesn't make a difference!

The rips on gmail are completely unfounded and ludicrous. That alone kills the value of this article. No digg. LAME.

"Do you have a Gmail address? If so, raise your hand. Ah, good, there are a few. Now, do you use your Gmail account as your primary account to actually send and receive mail? Riiigghhht, most of you put your hands down."Where does he get his facts? Obviously by walking up to a random group of people he knows and asking for a show of hands. Get real. You can't claim to know how many people do and don't use their gmail account you moron. You can hardly claim gmail was a failure. Infact, it's been nothing but successful so far. If it wasn't, they wouldn't keep it around. And who CARES if it says beta. It's because it is, and problems do arise as they add new features. How can you basically praise yahoo mail as being from the gods, and then belittle gmail for still being in beta when your precious yahoo is still beta too? You can't say gmail was a failure. I use it every day as my primary email. Until yahoo gives out FREE pop mail...you and yahoo's "outlook like" interface can kiss my ass.
