I fail to see why only the 17 year old is sentenced to 10 years and the 15 year old walks out free. The judge seems to be biased.

okay, I have a couple questions, first off, I'm 17 and my girl friend is 15, so this article freaks me out a little bit... umm yeabut I was under the impression that under the age of 18 (i.e. a minor) consent is something ruled by the parents of the party in question and that "aggravated child molestation" was a charge given when the victim is a minor and the assailant in over the age of "innocence" this case, and the others mentioned in comments, make no scene to me, how is that even possible, it contradicts federal law, and in any way that you look at it, it is morally wrong, in so many ways, how is it that things like this are allowed to happen?
