ktvz.com — This teenager slammed his vehicle into another to escape an unbelted carjacker. The ploy worked although, why he slammed his vehicle into another instead of a building or something, is beyond me.....but then again, I wasn't being held at gunpoint...

f**k this dude. He put other innocent lives at risk to save his own ass. It's basically the same as someone taking you hostage at gunpoint, then grabbing a hostage for yourself to place in between you and the gun. Real heroic.Next time, run into a tree you jackass.

He will be arrested anyway, intentionally causing an auto accident involving another person is a 1st degree felony. He will also spend the next 5 years paying for a car he can no long drive, since his insurance company will not replace a car he intentionally wrecked.Major first class idiot here, concerned only with his own skin and not smart enough to lie and say the carjacker jerked the wheel or something.

yeah but imagine the s**t the insurance company would get for NOT replacing the car. Bad PR, would not be worth it.Actually they probably would make a scene out of replacing the car.

Good point, but remember: he hit an _elderly_ driver.

I agree, that was a terrible move, selfish really.

I wonder if the carjacker had a glass jaw.

Here's the physics for y'all1/2*m*v^2(car) + 1/2*m*v^2(SUV) = Energy absorbed bringing the cars to a complete halt + energy absorbed by crushing parts + energy absorbed by noise + energy absorbed as heat + energy absorbed by seatbelt on good guy + energy of criminal smacking his head on something.m = mass, v = velocity and ^2 notation indicates square.Cheers!
