vistabay.com — Drug use (and abuse) over the course of the twentieth century has fluctuated significantly. As new drugs have been introduced into the public, popularity has shifted between a number of legal and illegal substances. With these popularity shifts have come changes in social acceptance, legal tolerance, and use rates among the public.

Hey CalcProgrammer1, there have been a crapload of mathematicians on speed and such that helped them improve their work. DNA was discovered by Francis Crick while he was on LSD. Your self imagined superiority is just going to keep you mediocre in your career the rest of your life. Have fun.

It's sad that you personally know people who died from a drug overdose or are incarcerated? I hope you are drug free. I grew up in the 70"s in Canada and I don't personally know one person who died from recreational drug abuse and I don't even know one person who is incarcerated. I hear about it in the news. I know I'm sheltered. I'm not a drug user. My neighbor who lives on the second floor uses weed on a daily basis. The smell rises to my floor. I'm just grateful that I work and not home much. He has a very strange personality also. Big mouth, can't say two word without an F word, doesn't work lives off the system etc.

Teen agers smoke weed at their parties they know where to find it. There are some parents that smoke weed with their kids and other peoples kids or they just allow it to be smoked in their home because they feel they know where their kids are and they are safe. Safety is not just a clean house food on the table and clean beds. Some parents think they have to be friends with their kids. to have a good relationship.

Innocent fun is going for a bike ride on a trail, going to the zoo, volunteering in an old age home, taking your digital camera and taking picture of the sun set, participating as a big sister or big brother in the community. Soaking up the beauty around this world or using your creative juices.

Well, let me start out by saying that "peer pressure" has basically dissolved from high schools. We all know that drugs aren't good, but feel curious to do them because their shrouded infamy. And second of all, I don't do drugs.

Drugs don't scare me anymore, I am an adult and I know for a fact that I won't ever be tempted to try any of them. On the other hand I don't have kids or my own family so I guess this is the source of my braveness...http://www.meditoxofpalmbeach.com/
