Hey, I don't mean to pee on the bonfire you guys are merrily roasting people on, but OS X, in pretty much every manifestation, exhibits measurably slower performance than Linux in equivalent heavy server situations, and can tend to get bogged down under heavy load for lots of tasks, not just serving HTTP pages. Now again, there's no reason in the world you can't run all sorts of perfectly good services on an OS X server, but someone expressing an opinion/preference that favours Linux or BSD or whatever, even on the same excellent hardware, is completely understandable.Even if the guy's a bit rude about it, there's no need to spin in the other direction, that just looks a bit bad. :S

Looks like the OS/2 boot menu to me, it's not an error or the BIOS, it's just being rebooted.

I can assure you it's not photoshopped - because I took the photo!I took it in Times Square in mid-January of 2006, just before I flew back to London from my yearlong round the world trip, which is detailed on my site http://www.yearinthelife.orgI posted it to Reddit.com yesterday on a page with another photo of a cash machine running Windows NT I spotted in Viet Nam: http://www.yearinthelife.org/amusingpics.phpThanks to linkedList for picking up my reddit post and digging this - hope it has raised a few smiles :pNow all I have to do is pay my bandwidth bill :O
